Save the date for our next blood drive, happening on Friday, July 18th in Fellowship Hall. There is currently a National blood shortage (the Red Cross has lost over 300,000 donors since the COVID-19 pandemic) and all blood types are desperately needed. Sign up for any time slot between 10 AM to 3 PM. Just an hour of your time can save a life. Register to give blood today!
Jul 19: Fairfax Water Mine & Swimming Hole
We’re headed to the Lake Fairfax Park Water Mine and Family Swimmin’ Hole for an afternoon of family fun on Saturday, July 19th, from 11 AM to 2 PM. Come nab a slice of tasty pizza under our “funbrella” and cool off! The whole family is welcome to attend and enjoy this summertime tradition. The event is limited to the first 25 people, so be sure to RSVP early!
Jul 20: Packing Personal Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief
On Sundy, July 20th, we will be assembling personal care kits for Lutheran World Relief, and we need your help! The personal care kits include items like bath towels, toothbrushes, combs, and more—wrapped up and sent to our neighbors in need around the world. If you can help, please gather in Fellowship Hall following worship at 11:15 AM. You can also donate items for the kits—see our donation list on our community outreach page.
Aug 17: Church Potluck & Picnic at Cherry Hill
Join Holy Trinity family and friends for an outdoor picnic at the scenic pavilion in Cherry Hill Park (Falls Church) on Sunday, Aug. 17th, from 11:30 AM - 1 PM. Our potluck-style picnic offers delicious foods, fresh air, and great fellowship. Invite a friend, and please bring your favorite entree, salad, or dessert, and maybe even wine to share!
