Jan 10: WELCA Book Club

WELCA Book Club will meet on Saturday, Jan. 10, in Fellowship Hall for a breakfast buffet at 9 AM followed by a discussion of "The White Lady: A Novel" by Jacqueline Winspear. Elinor, the book's protagonist, is a reluctant ex-spy with a haunted past (facing down the most dangerous organized crime gangs in London) who lives as the private, quiet, and mysterious “Miss White” to her neighbors. Attending or have questions? Jan 11: Adult Bible Study

The adults of the congregation meet for Bible Study at 8:45 AM every Sunday morning. This fall, our focus will be on the Gospel of John. All are welcome!


Jan 11: Family Education Hour

Our first in-person Sunday School (Family Education Hour) of the new year will be this Sunday, January 11th, at 11:30 AM. Along with our usual lesson and music, we will be enjoying our annual tie-dye T-shirt craft hosted by the Davis family. Jan 16: Miriam Lydia Circle

Miriam Lydia Circle will meet on January 16th at 10 AM in the HT Library.  Lessons are drawn from the “Gather” magazine and focus on contemporary topics for women. The title of the lesson for January is “Now Let Us Pray," led by Linda Beaty, with refreshments to follow. This informal time is a great opportunity to get to know each other better and exchange news!


Jan 24: January Mini Retreat

All are invited to join a free mini retreat on Saturday, Jan. 24th, from 9 AM - 12 PM in Fellowship Hall. We'll eat a continental breakfast while learning a new perspective on Jesus’ birth! With guest facilitator Rev. Bob Harris, we will discuss Jesus' birth from the view of a Middle Eastern peasant. Freewill offerings welcome! Learn more and register by January 16.


Jan 26: Faith Outside the Box

Feb 22-28: Hypothermia Week

Hypothermia Week, our annual campaign to shelter our neighbors from the cold, will take place in the end of February. We will start gathering donations of clothing, toiletries, and gift cards soon. We will also be seeking volunteers in various roles. Keep an eye out for these opportunities to help us prepare to welcome our neighbors during the coldest months of the year!
