75th Anniversary Events
Holy Trinity celebrates our 75th Anniversary ALL YEAR LONG in 2024! Can you believe we’ve been sharing Christ’s love in our community and church for 75 years?! To celebrate, we have a number of special events, activities, and surprises in the works. In addition to the events listed below, learn more on our 75th Anniversary Events page.
Nov 16: King Moon Racer Concert
King Moon Racer is a power and rock band based in Northern Virginia, with great grooves, solid melodies, and lively harmonies. As a special treat for Holy Trinity’s 75th Anniversary, they're joining us for a concert on November 16th at 7 PM and will play a few hits from the 2020 decade as we celebrate the final month of our anniversary year. Nov 17: Family Education Hour
Our next in-person Sunday School (Family Education Hour) will be on Sunday, November 17th, at 11:30 AM. This fall, our youth education includes approximately 40 children, wow! Because of our growing group numbers and large range of ages, we will be providing age-specific activities and lessons during our family education sessions. Lunch will be provided, as well as coffee and conversation starters for our parents.
Going forward, we'll meet in person every third week of the month with at-home study in the weeks between. View the full schedule on our Family Education page.
Dec 8: Advent Cookie Concert
The Advent Cookie Concert is one of the oldest and most-loved traditions at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and it’s back again on Sunday, December 8th at 7:00 PM. Join us for a wonderful concert of Advent and Christmas pieces in a mix of styles—from traditional favorites to lively contemporary selections. Christmas carol sing-alongs for the audience add to the fun. Stay after the concert for tasty home-made treats at our cookie reception! View the flyer here.
Dec 7: Breakfast With Santa
Santa Clause is coming to Holy Trinity! Join us on Saturday, December 7th from 10am-12pm for our annual Breakfast with Santa event. Grab a hot breakfast, write a letter to Santa, and create Christmas crafts at our workshop tables. Oh, and don’t forget to visit Santa himself for a cute family photo. This event is free and everyone is welcome! Invite friends and share the event on Facebook.
