Aug 17: Church Potluck & Picnic at Cherry Hill
Join Holy Trinity family and friends for an outdoor picnic at the scenic pavilion in Cherry Hill Park (Falls Church) on Sunday, Aug. 17th, from 11:30 AM - 1 PM. Our potluck-style picnic offers delicious foods, fresh air, and great fellowship. Invite a friend, and please bring your favorite entree, salad, or dessert, and maybe even wine to share!
Sept 6: WELCA Book Club
The WELCA Book Club will meet on Saturday, Sept. 6, in Fellowship Hall for a breakfast buffet at 9 AM with discussion to follow. The book for September is "Long Island" by Colm Tóibín - a gorgeous story of a woman alone in a marriage and the deepest bonds she rekindles on her return to the place and people she left behind. Sept 7: Backpack Blessing
You're invited! Bring the kids and their backpacks to Holy Trinity's Backpack Blessing on Sunday, September 7th during worship. There will be a special prayer a children's lesson for the upcoming school year.
Sept 21: Adult Education Returns
Starting on Sunday, September 21st, we will once again be meeting for Bible Study and Adult Forum at 8:45 AM. Topics for discussion will be announced soon, so check back to learn more. All are welcome!
Sept 21: Bible Distribution Day
Sunday, September 21st is our Bible Distribution Day, a special day for all of the children in the congregation. Pastor Mike will be distributing Bibles to kindergarteners and 3rd graders. Make sure you bring your little ones! Don't have kids? Just showing up lends your faithful support for our young and growing families.
Sept 21: Family Education Hour
Our first in-person Sunday School (Family Education Hour) of the fall will be on Sunday, Sept. 15th, at 11:30 AM. We will be providing age-specific activities and lessons, along with music. Coffee will be provided for the adults. View the full schedule on the youth and family education page.
Sept 27: Oktoberfest Fun Run
Mark your calendar for our Oktoberfest fun run/ walk around the neighborhood on Saturday, Sept. 27th at 10 AM. At the end of the one-mile course, there will be donuts, pretzels, and beer (age dependent). Goodwill donations will go to Lutheran Disaster Response, including those affected by the fires and flooding this summer. Please consider volunteering to help.
